Effective from 8 October 2026.

General Terms and Conditions of the Rózsaüveg creative studio and webshop. Please read these terms before ordering or booking. You accept them through the required checkbox on the order or booking form; formation of the contract follows the process below.

2. Services, ordering and contract formation

  • Painting events: group creative sessions at the time, venue and capacity advertised on the event page.
  • Webshop products: ready-made artwork described on the product page.
  • Gift vouchers: electronic vouchers with the validity and number of participants stated on the product page and voucher.
  • Custom Tiffany glass and paintings: handmade creations agreed to individual requirements, including acrylic and oil paintings. Request a quote through the contact form or protected contact details above. The individual offer specifies the price and completion deadline; requesting a quote is not itself an order.

Select a product or event. For bookings, enter participants and select an offered payment method, then provide contact and, where needed, billing details. Before submission, you can correct form fields and check the details, participant count and total. After reading the required notices and accepting these terms, submit using the payment or booking button. Contact us promptly if you discover incorrect information after submission.

For card payments, complete payment on Stripe. Successful payment and acceptance of the order are confirmed by automatic email; the contract is formed when that confirmation becomes accessible to you. Merely opening the payment page does not complete an order. Voucher bookings are confirmed by email after successful redemption. When paying at the venue, we first request email confirmation: use the confirmation link before the deadline stated in the email to finalise your booking, after which we send a booking confirmation. An unconfirmed reservation may expire. If confirmation of your order does not arrive within 48 hours at the latest, you are released from your offer or contractual obligation.

The contract language is Hungarian or English according to the selected interface. The contract is not treated as a written, separately filed contract; we retain order and booking data electronically and send confirmation by email. The secure management link in that email provides access to order or booking management.

3. Painting event cancellation

The complete booking may be cancelled at least 48 hours before the event using the secure management link in the confirmation email or in writing. The full participation fee paid is refunded to the original payment method, following administrative processing. Cancellation within 48 hours or non-attendance does not qualify for a refund or rescheduling.

For payment at the venue, there is nothing to refund if no payment has been made. After timely cancellation of a voucher booking, an unexpired voucher is reactivated with its original expiry date; expired vouchers require individual handling. If the provider cancels the event, you may choose a full refund or free rescheduling. See the refund policy for details.

4. Copyright and media

Photographs and video may be taken at painting events. We use them to document the session and to present Rózsaüveg on our website and social media (for example in Facebook posts). We mainly photograph the paintings being created, hands and the atmosphere. If you do not want to appear in the images, tell the organiser on site and we will respect your choice.

We publish an identifiable face only with the person's prior, voluntary consent (Section 2:48 of the Hungarian Civil Code; Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). The separate, initially unchecked booking checkbox covers only the booker's own likeness. Other adult participants must consent individually; minors require separate consent from a parent or legal guardian. Booking and participation do not depend on consent. Without consent, faces in images added to our galleries are made unrecognisable (blurred) before publication; publishing such non-identifiable images is based on our legitimate interest in presenting Rózsaüveg (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), to which you may object at any time.

We remove images on request. If you recognise yourself or your child in an image we have published and do not want it to appear there, contact us through the protected contact details: we will remove the image or make it unrecognisable on the channels we control (website, our own social media pages) without requiring a reason, promptly and at the latest within 3 working days. We will request removal of copies shared by others to the extent reasonably possible. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Images are retained until the publication purpose ends or until consent is withdrawn or an objection is made. The consent timestamp and statement version are retained for as long as necessary to evidence consent.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are in Hungarian forints (HUF) and show the gross total payable by the consumer. The provider is VAT-exempt under the Hungarian small-business exemption (AAM), so no VAT is charged. The amount payable is visible before submission. For custom artwork, the accepted offer governs the price.

The webshop accepts card payment through Stripe. Painting events support the card or venue payment methods offered for that event, or an eligible, valid gift voucher. The venue price may differ from the online price; the selected price is shown on the form. Invoices or receipts are issued through Számlázz.hu. We do not store payment-card details.

6. Handover and performance deadline

Physical webshop products are currently available by personal pickup, at an agreed time and place, with no separate pickup fee. Courier or postal delivery cannot be selected at checkout and no shipping fee is charged. Vouchers are emailed as PDFs after successful payment. Unless otherwise agreed in advance, goods are handed over without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is formed. Custom artwork follows the deadline in the offer; painting events take place at the advertised event time.

7. Withdrawal and returns

For ready-made, non-personalised goods, consumers may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days after receipt; notice may also be given before receipt. Send an unequivocal statement by post, protected email contact, or the “Withdraw from the contract” function through the order-management link. We promptly confirm the online statement's content and submission time by email.

Goods made to individual specifications or clearly personalised, and leisure services on a specified date, may be exempt under Section 29 of Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.). The refund policy explains withdrawal, vouchers, return costs and the model withdrawal form. No provision restricts mandatory consumer rights.

8. Conformity, product liability for defects and guarantees

Defective performance is subject to Sections 6:159–6:170 of the Hungarian Civil Code and, for sales of goods, Government Decree 373/2021 (VI. 30.). Consumers may normally bring conformity claims against us within two years of performance. Notify us without delay after discovering a defect; notification within two months is considered timely. For goods, a defect identified within one year of delivery is presumed to have existed on delivery unless incompatible with the nature of the goods or defect.

You may primarily request free repair or replacement, subject to statutory impossibility and proportionality limits. Where the statutory conditions are met, a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract is available; a minor defect does not justify termination.

For defective movable goods, a statutory product claim may be made against the manufacturer for repair or replacement within two years after the product was placed on the market. You must prove the defect; the manufacturer may be exempt only on statutory grounds. Double recovery for the same defect is not available.

A mandatory guarantee applies where the product falls within the relevant statutory product categories and price thresholds; its duration and conditions are specified by current law and the guarantee information. A voluntary guarantee applies only where expressly offered. Guarantees do not reduce statutory conformity rights. Submit claims using the contacts in Section 1.

9. Complaints and disputes

We send a substantive written response to a written complaint within 30 days of receipt. We give reasons for rejecting a complaint and information about the available authority and conciliation procedures. We investigate oral complaints immediately and remedy them where possible; otherwise, or if you disagree, we record the complaint.

Consumers may refer a dispute to a conciliation board; we cooperate in the proceedings. Ordinarily, the board serving your residence or place of stay has jurisdiction; another board may be chosen where the law permits. The Budapest Conciliation Board, serving the provider's registered office, is at 1016 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 99., 1st floor, room 111, Hungary; postal address: 1253 Budapest, PO Box 10; telephone: +36 (1) 488-2131. Current electronic contact details and online submission are available on the board's official contact page.

For a breach of consumer-protection rules, you may contact the competent capital or county government office (government office contacts). Civil claims may also be brought before a court.

10. Governing law

Hungarian law applies, particularly the Civil Code, Act CVIII of 2001 on electronic commerce, Act CLV of 1997 on consumer protection and Government Decrees 45/2014 and 373/2021. This does not deprive consumers of protection under mandatory rules of the law of their habitual residence.
